Answer There are two reasons why the top up value loaded to your EasyPark meter is less than the amount you paid:
1. Top Up Commission For the service it provides, EasyPark charges a top up commission of 4.5% of the value loaded to the EasyPark meter. So if you request a top up value of $20, only $19.10 will be loaded to your EasyPark meter.
2. Recovery of Loaned Parking Balance For your convenience, and protection against parking violation tickets, the EasyPark meter allows you to park for an extra $2.5 of parking value after your parking value balance is exhausted. Any such over balance usage is offset against your next top up load value.
