Answer Simply update to the latest version of Java on your Mac using “Software Update.” To do this: 1. Click on the Apple icon menu (upper left-hand side of the screen.) 2. Click on “Software Update.” 3. Click on “Update Now.” Software Update will look for new updates available. 4. If there are any updates for Java, make sure there is a check mark next to the Java updates, then click “Install.” 5. The update will download and install automatically. 6. After Java is updated, you must QUIT your browser completely (not just close the window) and restart the browser for Java to work correctly with the new settings (or you can also restart your computer). 7. Finally, enable Java and per instructions below above.
